An event for Members:

AN EVENING TARGETED AT BETTER BUSINESS

GS1 and the Building Industry Federation are again joining forces to present an evening of conviviality aimed at greater in depth knowledge of economic forces impacting on our industry and GS1’s systems at work.

Our keynote speaker will be:

John McDermott, Assistant Governor and Head of Economics at the Reserve Bank
with
Hardware suppliers and retailers from both Australia and New Zealand detailing the better business they can do through GS1 e-commerce solutions.

The Date: Thursday, 18 April
The Venue: Cuvee Bar & Lawn, ground floor of the Ascot Stand, The Ellerslie Event Centre, 80 Ascot Avenue, Auckland.
The Time: 4:30pm to 7pm

Following our keynote speaker’s address guests will be able to mix with colleagues and chat with our guests at a barbecue geared to informality and information exchanges. The Reserve Bank is keen to know your thoughts on industry issues – housing affordability, materials supply to Christchurch and the capability of the materials supply and hardware sector to meet demand in an improving market.

Chatham House rules – no reporting; no after match quotations – will apply to the Assistant Governor’s speech. But you will get an up to the minute appraisal of factors determining the future course of the New Zealand economy.

RSVP: pauline.prince@gs1nz.org by Friday 12th April.
